The sleuths of Bowenpally Police have arrested five individuals in connection with a brutal murder case that occurred on December 21, 2024. Police have arrested the accused within 48 hours of the incident.

The arrested persons are identified as Mohammed Shabbir Ahmed (55), Mohammed Omer (25), Abdul Mateen (25), Syed Sohail (25) and Shaik Abu Bakar Siddique (29). Another person named Ibrahim is still absconding in this case. Police have seized five cell phones, two wheeler vehicles and three knives from the arrested people.  

Mohammed Shabbir is the father-in-law of the deceased Mohammed Sameer. The deceased married Ferdoz sadaf (daughter of Mohammad Shabir) without the consent of her father, after that, Moahmmed Shabbir took her daughter with him on the pretext of performing marriage after one month. Upon enquiry by Mohammed Sameer, Mohammed Shabbir, threatened to make signatures on the divorce papers if not he will kill him. The accused Mohammed Shabbir and Mohammed Omer felt that the marriage of Ferdos Sadaf with Mohammed Sameer is maligning, defaming their dignity in the society.

Mohammed Omer threatened Sameer several times in this regard. As Mohammed Sameer was not listening, with a conspiracy, Mohammed Shabbir Ahmed, Mohammed Omer along with Abdul Mateen, Syed Sohail, Shaik Abu Bakar Siddique and Ibrahim stabbed Mohammed Sameer with knives causing grievous fatal injuries and after that they all sped away from the spot.
