GHMC Mayor lays foundation stone for multiple projects

GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi highlighted the city's commitment to development aimed at enhancing services for residents. On Saturday, she, along with local MLA Danam Nagender, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for several projects with an estimated cost of Rs 3.54 crore.

Among the projects inaugurated were traffic improvement works at Taj Krishna Junction costing Rs 11.5 lakh, junction development works opposite GVK Mall completed at Rs 12.75 lakh, and an open-air mini-theater at Jawahar Nagar Park developed at Rs 25 lakh. Additionally, beautification works near KBR Park costing Rs 1.96 lakh were also inaugurated.

Mayor Vijayalakshmi laid the foundation stones for CC road construction works in Nandi Nagar Road No. 14, connecting multiple areas from Union Bank of India to Nandi Nagar, with an estimated cost of Rs 1.45 crores, and CC road development works in Banjara Hills Road No. 14, connecting various areas from a mosque in the area to Brahma Kumaris, costing Rs 1.48 crores. She stated that these development works would reduce traffic issues and improve the living standards of the residents.

MLA Danam Nagender mentioned the government's priority on improving transportation in the city, with initiatives like underpasses and flyovers in high-traffic areas through Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI).
