Narsimha Reddy Engineering College, located in Gundlapochampally, celebrated Sankranti festivities with great enthusiasm and grandeur on Thursday. The festival's unique charm lies in its celebration of nature, agriculture, and community spirit, as highlighted by the college Secretary J. Trishul Reddy.  Dr. A. Mohan, Director of the college, echoed similar sentiments, noting that such celebrations help reinforce these core human values in practical ways. 

Dr. R. Lokanatham , Principal, spoke about the festival's significance, explaining that Sankranti marks the time when farmers reap the fruits of their hard work and receive the rewards of their labor. The entire college campus was transformed into a vibrant celebration space, adorned with beautiful rangoli designs, flying kites, and Bhogi bonfires, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
