Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology (GRIET), Hyderabad, in collaboration with Intuitive Data Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (IDS), a sister company of Information Data Systems (IDS) Inc., Michigan, USA, inaugurated a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Blockchain Technology on Tuesday. The initiative is aimed at advancing cutting-edge research, innovation, and industry-aligned learning in decentralised technologies.

The Centre of Excellence is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry requirements by offering students exposure to live projects, practical use cases, and emerging blockchain frameworks. The collaboration will focus on developing deployment-ready talent equipped to meet global technology demands.

Speaking on the occasion, Sudharshan, CEO, Intuitive Data Solutions, said that the collaboration aims to provide students with hands-on experience in real-world blockchain applications. "Through live projects, we intend to cultivate deployment-ready professionals equipped with future-ready blockchain skills”, he mentioned. 

Sunil Subrahmanyam, Vice President, Intuitive Data Solutions, added that by integrating global certification programs, expert-led workshops, and continuous mentorship, the company aim to empower students with verifiable skills and career-oriented competencies that align with global industry standards.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of Dr. Praveen, Principal, GRIET, Director J.N. Murthy, and Dr. G. Karuna, Coordinator for the Centre of Excellence. They highlighted the importance of industry partnerships in preparing students for next-generation technologies.
