NTR district Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha said on Friday that based on past experiences and correcting the shortcomings, arrangements are being made to provide hassle free digital services to the lakhs of devotees who will come for Bhavani's Deeksha conclusion ceremonies.
The Collector held a meeting with telecom network and internet service providers in the Collectorate. He said that a strong communication plan is being implemented for the conclusion program to be held at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam, Vijayawada from the 21st to the 25th of this month. He suggested that telecom companies should make arrangements to ensure that digital&network services are uninterrupted.
He said that drones, various apps, public addressing system, integrated command control room require efficient network services to give full results. Telecom network providers were advised to make appropriate arrangements to increase the capacity of towers in the respective areas. DIPRO U. Surendranath, representatives of APSFL, BSNL, Reliance Jio and other organizations participated in the meeting.
Missing Child App launched in Vijayawada

In order to ensure that the information of missing children is quickly communicated to their parents, the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Devasthanam , Vijayawada has made the Child Monitoring System (CMS) available on the orders of District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmisha. The conclusion of the “Bhavani Deeksha” will be held from the 21st to the 25th of this month. About five to six lakh people will attend this program.
The Collector said that the CMS app will be used to trace the children who went missing. The details of the children are registered through counters set up in various areas and a QR band is placed on their wrist. If a child going missing, anyone else can scan this QR code and the child's information will be known. After scanning the QR code, it shows the child's name, parents' name, parents' phone number, and options to call the parents or contact them via WhatsApp. The Collector explained that this will make it easier to reunite children with their family members.
