HTAMF festival begins in city

Hyderabad: The 11th Hyderabad Tyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival (HTAMF) 2026 being held at CCRT & Shilparamam from January 19th to January 25th 2026, commenced with Aradhanotsava Prarambham and Jyothi Prakasanam (lighting the lamp). Organized by the Sanskriti Foundation as an annual seven-day event, the festival has evening concerts on all 7 days, student performances on January 24th morning. January 25th Morning has one of the most important events of the festival - Pancharatna Seva by 600+ artists, Unchavriti, Nagarasankirtanam, Guru Sanmanam for renowned Vidwan Komanduri Seshadri (non percussion), Vidwan ⁠Nemani Somayajulu (Percussion), Vidushi Sri Manda Sudharani (Vocal), Utsava Murthy & Tyagaraja Swami Abhishekam and also live painting by Kuchi Garu.

Evening Performances

The evening began with an enthralling Vocal Concert by Students of Vidushi Kamala Ramani. Accompanied by Akshaya Srinivasan on Violin, Chi M Vedanth Desikan on Mridangam. The next items of the evening was a delightful vocal concert by Vidwan Vikas Maithreya, accompanied by Vidwan Shanmukha Srivatsa on violin, Vidwan Vidya Sagar on mridangam and Vidwan ASR Koundinya on ghatam. 

Continuing to add to the richness of the evening concerts, the next was a Vocal Concert by Vidushi Ranjani Sivakumar ,accompanied by Vidwan Shanmukha Srivatsa on violin, Vidwan Vidya Sagar on mridangam and Vidwan ASR Koundinya on ghatam. The grand performance of the evening Vocal Concert was by Vidwan D V Mohanakrishna, accompanied by Vidushi Sivani Gayathri on violin, Vidwan N S Kalyanaraman on mridangam and Vidwan Syam Kumar on kanjira.
