Hyderabad Police complete OGMIS training

In a landmark effort spearheaded by V C Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, a one-day training programme titled ‘Oka Goppa Marpuku Ide Sriram (OGMIS)’ was conducted for all ranks of the Hyderabad City Police.

Following the Commissioner’s directive, the training for personnel of North Zone, Traffic–1, commenced on November 24, 2025, and concluded on December 3, 2025. The programme was overseen by Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic Branch, Hyderabad; Rahul Hegde, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic-1, North District; and C Venu Gopal, Addl. Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic-1, North District.

Over nine days, 452 personnel completed the training, including Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, ASIs, WASIs, Head Constables, Women Head Constables, Police Constables, Women Police Constables, and Home Guards.

The curriculum, designed by the Commissioner himself, was delivered by experienced faculty. Sessions were conducted seamlessly, with participants enjoying excellent hospitality and hygienic refreshments. Top performers were recognized with awards, and Hero Motors facilitated an interactive road safety module at Hero Park, Begumpet, along with prizes for achievers.

The completion of OGMIS has bolstered the professionalism and public service commitment of North Zone, Traffic–1 personnel, equipping them with renewed dedication and a service-oriented approach toward citizens.
