The 23rd edition of BioAsia, Asia’s premier life sciences and healthcare forum, is scheduled to take place on February 17 and 18, 2026, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). Organized by the Government of Telangana, the summit reinforces Hyderabad’s stature as a global power hub for pharmaceutical and biotechnological innovation. This year’s conference is expected to draw approximately 3,000 delegates from over 50 countries, bringing together an elite assembly of global CEOs, Nobel laureates, policymakers, and scientific pioneers.
The summit will be inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy alongside Minister for Industries and IT D. Sridhar Babu. Central leadership will also be well-represented, with scheduled participation from Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Ashwini Vaishnaw, highlighting the national importance of India’s $3 trillion economy goal by 2047. A standout feature of the 2026 edition is the session titled “Telangana Rising Vision 2047,” which will detail the state's strategic roadmap for advancing AI-enabled R&D and next-generation biomanufacturing.
Under the theme “TechBio Unleashed: AI, Automation – The Biology Revolution,” the conference will explore the transformative convergence of technology and biology. Key discussions will center on how artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing are compressing R&D timelines and redefining therapy delivery. High-profile speakers include Dr. Howard Y. Chang (CSO, Amgen), Pushmeet Kohli (VP, Google DeepMind), and Dr. Stefan Miltenyi (Founder, Miltenyi Biotec), who will provide insights into foundational protein science, precision medicine, and the scalability of next-generation biologics.
The event will also feature a prestigious CEO Conclave, facilitating a dialogue between global giants like Novartis, Sanofi, and AstraZeneca and Indian leaders from Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Biocon.
