Participating in a symposium on “Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness & Medical Responsibility” organized by the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Andhra Pradesh Chapter at Guntur, he spoke in depth reflecting the growing threat of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and the urgent need for awareness and enforcement to combat this global challenge.

The Minister Satya Kumar Yadav also spoke about his personal transformation from being a non-medical background Minister to now understanding and acting on pressing health issues daily. Citing global and Indian reports, he expressed deep concern over unregulated antibiotic use, lack of public awareness and widespread self-medication. Our mission is to transform Andhra Pradesh into a healthier, safer state by creating awareness, enforcing guidelines, and protecting the lives of future generations,” he said.  Dr. Nandakishore, President of IMA AP Chapter; Dr. Srihari , Chairman, AP Medical Council; GGH Guntur Superintendent  Dr. Ramana Yasasvi participated in this event.
