The presence of Indian companies and startups continues to expand at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the world’s largest technology showcase, with organisers welcoming broader participation from India in the coming years. CES Vice President and Show Director John Kelley said Indian startups are increasingly visible at the global platform, reflecting the country’s growing role in technology innovation.

Kelley highlighted the participation of Bengaluru-based wearables company Ultrahuman, expressing excitement about its debut at CES this year. Ultrahuman develops advanced health-focused products, including the world’s lightest sleep-tracking wearable, a continuous glucose monitoring platform and preventive blood-testing solutions. He noted that CES 2026 is expected to draw participants from around 150 countries, with nearly 40 per cent of attendees and exhibitors coming from outside the United States.

CES 2026, organised by the Consumer Technology Association, began on Tuesday in Las Vegas and will run until January 9. The event features over 4,100 exhibitors showcasing innovations across artificial intelligence, digital health, mobility, robotics, energy, quantum computing and immersive entertainment. CTA said CES brings together global companies, startups, industry leaders and policymakers to experience technologies aimed at addressing real-world challenges.

Several Indian companies and organisations are participating this year, including health-tech firm aabo, Bhopal-based pseudo-reality startup ArvyaX Technologies, CMAI Association of India, smartwatch brand Noise, automotive technology company Sona Comstar and global IT partner Zoondia. Kelley recalled that CES hosted its first Indian pavilion in 2024, marking a milestone for Indian representation.

Executives from Indian firms expressed pride in competing on a global stage. Noise officials said the company now designs and manufactures largely in India and is showcasing products that can compete with the world’s best. Meanwhile, ArvyaX Technologies is exhibiting at Eureka Park, with its founder calling the moment a representation of Indian innovation reaching a global audience.
