Infosys, AWS join hands to boost enterprise GenAI adoption

Global IT major Infosys has announced a strategic collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate enterprise adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI), combining its AI-first platform Infosys Topaz™ with Amazon Q Developer.

The partnership aims to transform software delivery, internal operations, and customer solutions across industries such as manufacturing, telecom, financial services, consumer goods, and sports and entertainment.

Infosys said it is integrating Infosys Topaz with Amazon Q Developer to enhance key internal functions including software development, human resources, recruitment, sales, and vendor management. In the software development lifecycle, the collaboration enables automated documentation, faster code generation, debugging, testing, and modernization of legacy systems, significantly improving efficiency, accuracy, and delivery timelines. The company is also leveraging AWS generative AI services such as Amazon Bedrock to deliver advanced customer-facing solutions. These include real-time, personalized digital engagement platforms, particularly in sports and entertainment, aimed at enhancing fan experiences for millions of users worldwide.

Sandeep Dutta, President of AWS India and South Asia, said Infosys is setting new benchmarks in enterprise transformation through large-scale adoption of generative AI. He noted that the combined strengths of Amazon Q and Infosys Topaz will help organizations innovate faster, gain operational agility, and deliver greater value to clients.

Balakrishna D. R., Executive Vice President and Global Services Head at Infosys, said the collaboration is reshaping how enterprise value is created by enabling AI-driven transformation across both internal operations and client ecosystems.
