International Oncology Summit-2026 inaugurated at Yashoda

Hyderabad: International "Head & Neck Oncology Summit-2026," organized by Oncology Department of Yashoda Hospitals, Hi-Tech City was inaugurated by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh , who was also the Chief Guest for the event on Saturday. Over 500+ oncology medical experts from across the world participated in the summit. On the occasion of the Summit, an AI-based Head & Neck Oncology Clinic was launched for the accurate and early detection of head and neck cancer. This clinic focuses on providing personalized treatment by analyzing the patient's genetic and molecular profile, offering an AI-based treatment plan that includes robotic surgery, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy.

Speaking at the launch of the Head & Neck Oncology Clinic, Dr. G. S. Rao, Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals, said that this clinic represents a significant milestone in personalized cancer care.Speaking on the occasion, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh (IPS) mentioned that while head and neck cancer is most common in the 50-70 age group in India, a higher percentage of patients in our country are diagnosed with this cancer at a younger age compared to Western countries.  He lauded Yashoda Hospital for launching the "AI-based Head & Neck Oncology Clinic.
