Jayesh Ranjan urges FTCCI to take lead role in MSME policy

Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana, on Friday urged the Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FTCCI)  to take a lead role in implementing the state government’s MSME policy.  He was speaking at the inauguration of the three day event ITEX 2025 – Industrial Innovation & Technology Expo conducted by the 108 year old Federation of Telangana Chamber of Commerce and Industries(FTCCI) at HITEX Exhibition Centre.

He expressed his happiness to see the entire ecosystem from banking and insurance to cybersecurity and automation under one roof and mentioned that modern industry is increasingly driven by start-ups. Dr. Suresh Kumar Singhal, President of FTCC informed that the goal of IITEX is to empower industries—especially MSMEs—with the latest technologies, in line with the Government of India’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” policy.

R. Ravi Kumar, Senior Vice President of FTCCI, said this year’s edition is larger, more diverse, and impactful. Vimlesh Gupta, convenor of the expo described it as a “platform for transformation”, connecting industrial backbone with the future innovations.

Bhavani Suresh, MD of Truzon Solar, urged the Telangana government to install solar panels in all government buildings. He also urged it to offer state-level solar subsidies to fully realize its solar potential. Margadarsi Chit Fund Pvt. Ltd, a key partner of the event, was represented by its CEO Satya Narayana Pathuri. He said that their goal is to grow from 124 to 250 branches by 2030 and increase their business from Rs 12,500 crores to Rs 30,000 crores in next five years

The event exhibits 110+ stalls in various sectors like renewable energy, food processing, packaging, etc and is expected to draw over 15000 visitors. It has dedicated pavilions by NASSCOM and T-Hub featuring over 20 startups each.
