Kausalyam 2026 to celebrate India's handmade heritage

The Crafts Council of Telangana (CCT) will host Kausalyam 2026 from July 14 to 16 at Anvaya Convention, Financial District, celebrating India's rich handmade heritage while supporting artisan communities. Held once every five years in collaboration with textile revivalist Gaurang Shah, the event will feature 75+ textile studios, 120 stalls, over 40 curated handmade collections, and a Museum of Textiles. Visitors can also enjoy leather puppetry, Cheriyal Scroll storytelling with augmented reality, and interactive sessions with craft entrepreneurs. Proceeds will support the revival of the Bharoon Embroidery Cluster and other artisan welfare initiatives.
