Hyderabad : Telangana Jagruthi president and former MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday arrived in Doha to take part in the Bathukamma celebrations organised by the Telangana Jagruthi Qatar chapter.

Upon her arrival at the Doha International Airport, Kavitha was accorded a warm and grand welcome by the members of the Telangana Jagruthi Qatar unit.

Enthusiastic members gathered at the airport, holding placards and raising slogans, expressing their joy and pride at welcoming their leader to the Gulf nation.

The Bathukamma festivities, a symbol of Telangana’s vibrant culture and identity, are being organised by Jagruthi’s Qatar chapter to bring together the Telugu diaspora and celebrate their roots even while away from home.

Kavitha is expected to participate in multiple cultural and community events during her visit, aimed at strengthening the cultural bond among the overseas Telugu community and promoting Telangana’s rich traditions on an international stage.
