The death of actress Kim Sae-Ron has sent the entire South Korean entertainment industry, and in yet another twist in the case, the Bloodhounds fame father has now accused a YouTuber for her suicide. Kim’s father stated that the YouTuber made false claims about the actress in his videos, which troubled her and ultimately drove her to claiming her own life. Kim was found dead in her Seoul apartment on February 16, and the local cops later confirmed it to be a case of suicide.

On her funeral, the actress’ father said in a statement that a YouTuber had uploaded a video criticising Kim in January after she shared several wedding-themed photos on her social media handle. The video was titled, “Kim Sae-Ron’s self-deletion again… Gone into hiding after marriage rumours? Tried contacting her directly.” Prior to that, the YouTuber had also uploaded another video in which he claimed that the actress was working at a cafe in Seoul to make ends meet.
