Kriti Sanon likely to recreate iconic Aaj Ki Raat song with Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar’s much-awaited Don 3

Don 3 is making headlines again! Ranveer Singh’s action-packed film, helmed by Farhan Akhtar, has been delayed multiple times. While Kiara Advani was initially on board as the female lead, recent reports suggest she has opted out of the project, with Kriti Sanon stepping in to replace her. Meanwhile, recent rumours hint at a recreation of the iconic Don (2006) track in the upcoming film, although an official confirmation is still awaited.

The original track featured Priyanka Chopra and Isha Koppikar dancing with Shah Rukh Khan, who portrayed the iconic role of Don. Even years after its release, the song continues to be celebrated as a stylish and energetic dance number. 

According to India Today, Don 3 will also include a similar peppy track, reminiscent of Aaj Ki Raat. Kriti has reportedly been finalised for the song, and she will be joined by another actress, whose name has not yet been confirmed. Together, the two will share the screen with Ranveer, echoing the trio dynamic from the original track.

On Ranveer’s 40th birthday (July 6), Kriti dropped a major hint about it while wishing Ranveer on his birthday. The actress took to her Instagram stories to pen a note for the actor, which read, “Happiest Birthday @ranveersingh !! Your energy, your hardwork, your crazzyy talent and the love you keep spreading has always inspired me!! Shine on rockstar!” But it was the last line that grabbed eyeballs. “P.S. looking forward to working with you soon!,” she concluded the note, seemingly confirming that the reports about her being a part of Don 3 were indeed true.
