The Telangana High Court has adjourned the hearing of the quash petition filed by former Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) in the Formula E-car race case to the 31st of this month. It also extended the relief granted to him not to be arrested till the 30th of this month to the 31st.
Justice NV Shravan Kumar who passed the order, asked the ACB to file a counter. On Friday, in the court, the lawyer representing the ACB filed a petition seeking cancellation of the interim “no arrest” relief granted to KTR. The court ordered KTR to file a counter to this petition.
Meanwhile, KTR filed a quash petition in the High Court Seeking quashing of the ACB case registered against him. The bench of Justice Sravan Kumar, which initially heard the case, ordered that KTR not be arrested till the 30th of this month, but said that that the investigation could continue.
