BJP MP Dr. Lakshman criticized the Telangana Congress government on Sunday. Speaking to the media at his residence in Ashok Nagar, he said that it is a government of cuts evasions. He charged the government of evading farmer loan waiver and “Rythu Barossa” schemes.
He said that before the elections, in the Warangal assembly, the government promised ‘Rythu Bharosa’ of Rs. 15 thousand, but now it has been cut to Rs. 12 thousand.
He accused that rythu bharosa was not being given to tenant farmers as promised, and that till recently, the government had been saying that Rythu Bharosa would be given from Sankranti, but now they are saying that it is January 26.
He questioned why surveys are being conducted again when the government has all the data of farmers. He said that the BJP is ready to fight in the state to support the farmers. He made it clear that a large-scale agitation will be launched for the farmers in the coming days. He said that the Congress government will be pursued until the promises made to the farmers are implemented.
