In connection with Vaikuntha Ekadasi Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam from January 10-19, the traditional temple cleansing fete of Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam will be observed on January 07. In view of this ritual, TTD has cancelled VIP Break Darshanam on January 07. As such no recommendation letters for VIP break darshan will be entertained on January 06.
TTD chairman said that devotees should follow the time slot for hassle free darshan. He reiterated that devotees shall have to follow the time slot on the given date allotted on their ticket or token to have a hassle-free Vaikuntha Dwara darshan to avoid long waiting hours. On Sunday morning, he inspected the Vaikuntha Ekadashi arrangements along the four mada streets of Srivari Temple in Tirumala.
Later speaking to the media, he asked the devotees to be restraint and get the SSD tokens to be issued in Tirupati to have a comfortable Dwara Darshanam. Tickets or SSD tokens are mandatory for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanan, he asserteKeeping in mind the past experiences, he said the authorities are making extensive arrangements for Vaikuntha Ekadasi this year.
