Lokesh to visit Russia to pitch AP as investment destination

Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Education Nara Lokesh will undertake a six-day visit to Russia from June 2 to 7 to attract investments and strengthen global business ties. A key highlight of the visit is his participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026, where he is expected to showcase Andhra Pradesh as an investment destination.

Lokesh will hold meetings with industrialists, corporate leaders and business organisations to explore collaborations in information technology, education, digital infrastructure and advanced manufacturing. The state government sees the visit as an opportunity to attract global investments and deepen economic cooperation. Lokesh is also expected to highlight Andhra Pradesh’s investor-friendly policies, infrastructure initiatives and skilled workforce to encourage international firms to establish operations in the state.
