Mareechika to release on May 29

The upcoming thriller Mareechika directed by national award winning filmmaker Satish Kasetty is all set for a theatrical release on May 29. Featuring Regina Cassandra, Anupama Parameswaran and Viraj Ashwin in lead roles, the film is produced by Rajiv Chilaka and Meghhaa Chilakka under the Chilaka Productions banner. It has already started creating strong curiosity with its intense theatrical trailer. The trailer opens with Anupama Parameswaran playing a village girl who claims that someone has killed Sanju Viraj Ashwin . Regina Cassandra makes a striking entry as Mareechika, a US-returned woman introduced into Viraj’s life by Anupama herself, setting the stage for a dramatic emotional conflict.

Adding immense weight to the film’s atmosphere is the music composed by legendary maestro Ilaiyaraaja. His powerful background score significantly elevates the tension and emotional impact throughout the trailer. The film has Arvind Kannabiran as director of photography and Junaid Siddiqui as editor.
