Revenue officials in Sangareddy district are proving that with their support, any government land can be illegally occupied. Aparna Constructions is building walls across a road used by villagers for years, acting as if they own everything. Revenue, R&B, and Panchayat officials, swayed by the company’s influence, are supporting these illegal activities.

In Edula Nagulapalli, under Tellapur Municipality in Ramachandrapuram Mandal, Aparna Real Estate is constructing massive illegal walls on government land, stretching kilometers and so high that people cannot see over them. Despite numerous complaints to the Ramachandrapuram Tahsildar, villagers allege that officials are misleading them and siding with the company. Frustrated, the villagers approached the High Court, which issued notices to the collectors of Sangareddy and Vikarabad districts, RDOs, Ramachandrapuram Tahsildar, R&B, and Panchayat officials.

In Edula Nagulapalli, under Tellapur Municipality, a massive wall construction is sparking controversy. The walls, built on both sides of Radial Road No. 7 for about 2 kilometers, have become a mystery. This Radial Road, leading from Kollur ORR service road toward Kondakal, passes through Edula Nagulapalli village. The construction, stretching from the railway station in the village outskirts for kilometers, is so tall that it blocks visibility. Villagers are suspicious because no information was shared with them about the project. Officials are giving conflicting answers about who is behind the construction. Meanwhile, villagers claim that Aparna Constructions is building these illegal walls.

Inconsistent Responses from Officials

When asked about the massive compound wall in Edula Nagulapalli, Ramachandrapuram revenue officials gave vague and inconsistent answers. At times, they said the railway department was responsible; at other times, they pointed to R&B officials. While government land exists on both sides of Radial Road, some of it is under railway control. Aparna Constructions reportedly acquired hundreds of acres in Nagulapalli and Kondakal, but issues arose regarding possession. The sudden start of massive wall construction, with officials turning a blind eye, has raised suspicions.

Complaints Ignored, No Results

Some villagers repeatedly complained to Tahsildar Sangram Reddy about the compound wall, but they received no response. They claim the construction is nearly complete, yet no official has addressed their concerns. Despite submitting written complaints for two months, no action has been taken. Villagers say the massive walls are blocking the path to the railway station, and they specifically named Aparna Constructions in their complaints. They also brought the issue to the district collector’s attention, but there is still no clarity on the construction.

Writ Petition Filed in High Court

Frustrated by the lack of justice from officials, villagers collectively filed a writ petition in the High Court. The court issued notices to the collectors of Sangareddy and Vikarabad, RDOs, the local Tahsildar, R&B, railway, and Panchayat departments. Despite this, officials have not responded. Villagers allege that from the Tahsildar to the RDO and district officials, everyone is supporting Aparna Constructions.

Villagers Threaten to Approach CM

Villagers warn that if Sangareddy District Collector Praveenya does not act against Aparna Constructions’ illegal walls, they will meet Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to seek justice. They vow to continue their fight until the illegal constructions are stopped and demand immediate action from the collector.

Tahsildar Avoids Questions

When Vijayakranthi’s representative sought clarification from Ramachandrapuram Tahsildar Sangram Reddy about the illegal walls, he avoided responding. His refusal to answer questions or even pick up calls has raised further suspicions.
