Urban MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana has called on people to cultivate a spirit of service and contribute to the welfare of the underprivileged. An annadanam (free food distribution) program was organized on Sunday at Kisan Fashion Mall under the auspices of the Sri Dhanpal Lakshmibai Vittal Gupta Charitable Trust. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Dhanpal, who also serves as the trust’s chairman, said he would always remain at the forefront of initiatives aimed at serving society.
He urged people to set aside a portion of their earnings for charitable activities and stressed that supporting the poor and standing by those in need was a collective social responsibility. Calling on the younger generation to participate in community service, Dhanpal advised youth to spend their weekends meaningfully rather than focusing exclusively on extravagance and entertainment. He encouraged them to contribute to charitable causes in whatever way they could.
The MLA said that service activities not only help individuals earn respect in society but also provide the personal satisfaction of having helped others. He emphasized that even small contributions could make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged people. Dhanpal Pranay Kumar, Dr Vinay Kumar and members of the MLA’s family also participated in the program.
