Metro India News | Hyderabad

The Cyberabad Traffic Police have announced major traffic diversions around IIIT Junction from July 1 as part of ongoing multi-level flyover and underpass construction works expected to continue for about a year. A key stretch between DLF Gate No.1 and Gachibowli Traffic Police Station will remain closed for three months to facilitate faster construction. Traffic from Radisson Hotel towards IIIT Junction will be allowed only up to DLF Gate No.1 and diverted via Gachibowli Junction and Indiranagar.

Vehicles travelling from Lingampally towards DLF Road will be rerouted at Gachibowli Traffic Police Station through IIIT Junction, Gachibowli Junction and Radisson Junction. Authorities said employees using the TCS Non-SEZ (CMC) gate will continue to have regular access. Commuters, especially IT employees, have been advised to use alternate routes and plan travel in advance as congestion is expected around IIIT Junction during the construction period.
