Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal assured that priority in darshan times is being given to common devotees over VIPs and ticket holders. Speaking during the monthly ‘Dial Your EO’ program at Annamayya Bhavan in Tirumala, the EO addressed various concerns raised by 17 callers during the one-hour live phone-in session.

Singhal confirmed that tickets and tokens for the Vaikuntha Ekadasi Dwara Darshan, scheduled from December 30 to January 8, would be issued after careful verification of online and offline options. This, he said, was to prevent any inconvenience to devotees, keeping in mind past experiences. ‘We are working on a transparent token allocation system and will provide further details soon,’ he added.

Addressing concerns from callers, Singhal explained that physically challenged devotees are already assisted by Srivari Seva volunteers to ensure a hassle-free darshan experience. He assured that TTD is continuously gathering feedback to make improvements, including considering changes to online booking and ticketing processes.

The EO emphasized that over 70% of darshan time is currently allocated to common devotees, with the TTD Board forming a committee to address various darshan-related issues. Singhal also urged devotees not to trust middlemen for darshan tickets, stressing that SRIVANI aims to curb such fraudulent practices.
