Morning flight services between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam to resume from June 1

As per the new schedule, IndiGo Airlines will operate an ATR aircraft, which will depart from Vijayawada at 7:15 AM and arrive in Visakhapatnam by 8:25 AM

Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, announced that morning flight services between Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam will resume from June 1, marking a significant boost to regional air connectivity in Andhra Pradesh.

Speaking to the media, the Minister expressed delight over the reinstatement of the crucial air link between the state’s executive capital Visakhapatnam and legislative capital region Vijayawada. “This decision will offer greater convenience to daily commuters, business travellers, and government officials. Strengthening regional connectivity remains a key focus of the Ministry of Civil Aviation,” he said.

As per the new schedule, IndiGo Airlines will operate an ATR aircraft, which will depart from Vijayawada at 7:15 AM and arrive in Visakhapatnam by 8:25 AM. The return flight will take off from Visakhapatnam at 8:45 AM and land in Vijayawada at 9:50 AM.

Minister Rammohan Naidu emphasized that the restored service will cater to the growing travel demands between the two rapidly developing cities and ensure faster transportation for professionals and daily travelers. “With the new timing and added convenience, this flight service is expected to become a preferred choice for those commuting between the two urban hubs,” he added.
