Mudhiraj issues must be resolved: DCC President appeals to CM

Mahabubnagar: Mahabubnagar DCC President Sanjeev Mudhiraj along with Minister for Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Vakiti Srihari and Mudhiraj Corporation Chairman Borra Gnaneshwar, met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Friday and submitted a request regarding the resolution of long-pending issues of the Mudhiraj community. They urged the government to shift the Mudhiraj community, currently listed under BC-D Category at Serial Number 19, to the BC-A Category.

The Chief Minister reportedly responded positively and directed Chief Secretary Sheshadri to conduct a comprehensive study on the matter and examine how the issue could be resolved without any hurdles. It was also stated that BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Minister Konda Surekha and Minister Srihari were instructed to discuss the matter with the BC Commission and prepare a detailed report regarding the resolution of the issue.
