The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2, 2025 on the theme ‘Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.’

In his address, Major General Misra commended NMDC’s significant role in strengthening India’s economic foundation and appreciated its unwavering commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and transparency. He emphasized that vigilance is not confined to a specific department but is a shared responsibility of every employee who contributes to building a strong, accountable organization.

Drawing parallels between the Armed Forces and public enterprises, the General Officer highlighted the importance of adhering to systems, processes, and established procedures while leveraging technology and automation to ensure transparency in operations. He remarked, ‘Vigilance is the means by which we honour the trust of this great nation.’

The week-long observance included awareness programs, competitions, and interactive sessions involving NMDC’s senior management, vigilance officers, employees, and students from nearby schools.
