In the last fortnight, North Zone Police successfully solved multiple cases of theft, cell phone snatching, robbery, and chain snatching. A cell phone snatching incident was reported on October 10 under the limits of Market PS. Accused Manchala Janardhan Sirish (24) and Cheraka Goutham Kumar (30) were arrested within 12 hours, and the stolen Realme mobile recovered.

A gold Mangalsutra (3.7 tulas) was forcibly snatched near ICICI Bank in Prakash Nagar on October 26 under Begumpet PS limits. Accused Jonnalagadda Ashok (27) and Gantenapalli Ramanayya (27) were arrested, and the ornament recovered.

Two men robbed an auto driver at knife-point, stealing his vehicle and mobile on October 27 in the limits of Mahankali PS. Accused Syed Zubair Ali (22) and Mohammed Pasha (20) were arrested, and multiple mobiles, a Samsung Tab, and Rs 9,500 recovered.

Several house and handbag thefts were reported in Bowenpally PS. Accused Jangalam Chandan (39), Jangalam Laxmi (35), a juvenile drug addict, and Masood Khan (49) were apprehended, with stolen property recovered in some cases.

Shaik Javeed (33) and Shaik Arif (25) snatched a mobile and accused arrested and property recovered under Mahankali PS limits.
