OU UG results announced; 74.38% pass

Osmania University (OU) on Thursday announced the results of its Semester IV and Semester VI undergraduate degree examinations, with an overall pass percentage of 74.38 per cent in Semester VI. A total of 59,619 Semester VI regular students appeared for the examinations, of whom 44,344 successfully cleared them.

For Semester IV, 57,295 students appeared, with 47.43 per cent passing the examinations. Altogether, 1,16,914 students appeared for the Semester IV and Semester VI regular examinations across five undergraduate programmes. Of these, 71,520 students passed, while 42,128 qualified for the award of their degrees.

Women outperformed men in both semesters across all programmes. Female candidates recorded pass percentages of 57.55 per cent in Semester IV and 82.75 per cent in Semester VI, compared to 33.40 per cent and 63.38 per cent, respectively, among male candidates.

Among the programmes, BBA registered the highest pass percentage in both semesters, recording 86.36 per cent in Semester VI and 55.27 per cent in Semester IV. BCom followed with a 74.97 per cent pass rate in Semester VI, while BA recorded 73.41 per cent in Semester VI and 53.69 per cent in Semester IV.

Students can check their results on the Osmania University website. The university said notifications regarding recounting, revaluation and duplicate marks memoranda will be issued separately by the Controller of Examinations.
