Students should move forward with clear goals: Mayor

Students should cultivate discipline, moral values and social responsibility along with academic excellence, and move forward with clear goals to achieve success, said Karimnagar Mayor Kolagani Srinivas. He was the Chief Guest at "Sanvi Navotsavam–2026," cultural event organized by Sanvi Junior College & Defence Academy at Rekurthi in Karimnagar on Thursday.

The Mayor appreciated the institution for preparing students to meet the challenges of the competitive world while encouraging excellence in academics, sports and cultural activities. Lions Club leader Lion Madhusudhan Reddy advised students to become responsible citizens who contribute positively to society. Police Association President Mamidala Surender urged students to maintain discipline and respect the law.

Emphasizing the institution's motto, "Come to Learn, Go to Serve," Sanvi Junior College & Defence Academy Chairman Aramshetty Muninder said that events like Navotsavam provide a  platform to identify and nurture students' hidden talents. The guests distributed prizes to winners of various competitions and congratulated them on their achievements.
