Panjagutta police and West Zone police arrested a 29-years-old car theft offender and seized four wheeler car MG Hector from the arrested person. Arrested person was identified as Digabar Raghunath Khandere, working as a driver and resident of Ameerpet.

On March 16, police received a complaint, in which he stated that on his four wheeler (MG Hector Diesel 2.0), TS-09 FH-1782, when he stopped at Relax Sandhya Wines Shop, opposite Green Park Hotel, Ameerpet. He left his car running and went towards the shop by keeping the car aside an unknown person, got into the car and drove off towards Ameerpet and drove off quickly and left the place. Hence, he requested to take necessary action as per law.

Based on the above complaint, a case is registered and being investigated. During the course of investigation, on credible information on Tuesday police arrested a person at Monappa Junction and produced before the court. Accused sent to judicial remand Chanchalguda Prison and further investigation is continued, said police.
