Emphasising that the party’s authority is paramount, IT and Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh asserted that all leaders and cadres must strictly adhere to party directives without deviation. He addressed a meeting of zonal coordinators at the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) central office, NTR Bhavan, chaired by TDP State president Palla Srinivasa Rao.

During the interaction, Lokesh issued a series of key instructions aimed at strengthening the organisation and ensuring effective implementation of government programmes. He directed zonal coordinators to continuously monitor the execution of party-mandated activities at the grassroots level and immediately flag any shortcomings to the party leadership.

Lokesh called for expeditious completion of pending appointments to affiliated committees at the village, mandal and constituency levels. He also asked coordinators to prepare comprehensive lists of eligible candidates for the remaining nominated posts, underscoring the need for merit and organisational commitment in selections.

Reviewing grievance redressal mechanisms, the Minister instructed coordinators to compile reports on the extent to which issues raised during constituency grievance programmes are being resolved. He further suggested that on days when District Development Review Committee (DDRC) meetings are held, district-level party coordination committee meetings should also be convened under the leadership of the district in-charge minister to ensure alignment between governance and organisation.

Lokesh said discussions should be initiated with in-charge ministers regarding the construction of party offices in every district to bolster organisational infrastructure. He also assured leaders and cadres that the party would take proactive legal steps to swiftly resolve cases that were allegedly filed illegally against party workers and leaders during the previous government’s tenure.

Reiterating the need for discipline and unity, Lokesh said a strong organisation, aligned with the party’s vision and directives, was essential for effective governance and sustained public trust.
