Jana Sena Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has dissolved all party committees in the erstwhile Nellore district, citing persistent complaints of indiscipline, internal conflicts and deviation from the party's core principles.
In a statement, Pawan Kalyan said the party leadership had received repeated grievances from supporters and grassroots workers regarding the conduct and functioning of district leaders. Many activists reportedly expressed concern that while they had worked hard to strengthen the party based on its ideology and values, the actions of some leaders were inconsistent with those principles.
The party noted that internal differences among local leaders and instances of organisational indiscipline had negatively impacted workers and supporters in the district. In response, Jana Sena dissolved all district, city, mandal and village level committees in the erstwhile Nellore district with immediate effect. The decision also removes those serving as district coordinators and all members of the dissolved bodies.
