PK graces grand launch of Chiru–Bobby Kolli film

The much-awaited new film featuring Megastar Chiranjeevi and director Bobby Kolli, tentatively titled #ChiruBobby2 / #Chiru158, was officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony in Hyderabad. The event was made even more special with the presence of Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu as chief guests, drawing strong attention from fans and industry circles.

The launch ceremony saw a traditional start, with Pawan Kalyan giving the clapboard and Sushmita Konidela switching on the camera. VV Vinayak directed the first shot, while senior filmmakers B Gopal and Kodandarami Reddy, along with Nagababu, handed over the script to the makers. Produced by KVN Productions, this marks the banner’s first Telugu project after several successful films across other languages.

Following the blockbuster success of Waltair Veerayya, the Chiranjeevi–Bobby Kolli combination returns with higher expectations. The film promises a larger scale, intense storytelling, and mass entertainment. Chiranjeevi is set to appear in a powerful and emotionally driven role, with reports highlighting his dedicated fitness transformation for the character.

Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan has been cast in a key role. Music is by S Thaman, with visuals handled by cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan. The regular shoot begins tomorrow in Hyderabad, marking the start of a major commercial entertainer.
