As part of Vigilance Awareness Week being observed from October 27 to November 2, 2025, the Regional Vigilance and Enforcement Office, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Nehru Zoological Park, organized a mega plantation drive and an Integrity Pledge ceremony at the zoo.
The event reaffirmed the shared commitment to integrity, transparency, and ethical public service. Nehru Zoological Park Curator J. Vasantha and DSP S. Srinivas Rao planted saplings of maredu, jamun, neem, moduga, and other species within the park premises.
Officials and staff from both departments participated in the Integrity Pledge, highlighting collective responsibility in promoting honesty and accountability in governance.
Those present included Deputy Curator M. Barnoba, Deputy Director (Veterinary) Dr. M.A. Hakeem, Assistant Curators Nazia Tabassum and B. Laxman, Assistant Geologist K.L.N. Rao, STO Suresh, Inspector K. Ganesh, and Sub-Inspector Ramu Goud.
