Additional Director General of Police (CRPF Southern Zone) Ravideep Singh Sahi, along with Mulugu District Superintendent of Police K. Sudhir Ramanath visited the Karreguttalu area on the Chhattisgarh border on Thursday and inspected the ongoing road construction works. The senior officials expressed satisfaction over the rapid progress of road development in the challenging and difficult terrain of Karreguttalu. They particularly appreciated the near-completion of road works up to Tadapala Kondalu.
Officials commended the staff for completing the road construction swiftly even in extremely difficult forested areas. They noted that these roads will significantly improve access to transportation, healthcare, education and emergency services for the local tribal population. Later, the team visited the CRPF camp at Pamunuru and held a detailed security review meeting. Discussions focused on better coordination among security forces, border area security anti-Maoist operations and the implementation of development programs.
Hyderabad Range DIG Anil Kumar, 81 Battalion Commandant Mukesh Kumar Singh, 39 Battalion Second-in-Command Pancham Lal, and Zong Sher also participated in the visit. Local police officers, including Venkataapuram CI Mutyam Ramesh and SI Tirupathi Rao briefed the senior officials on the road works.
