DCP calls to prevent cattle trafficking on Bakrid

In view of the upcoming Bakrid festival, Mancherial District Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Eggadi Bhaskar conducted a surprise inspection at the check post set up at Gudem in Dandepalli Mandal on Thursday. The check post was established to curb illegal transportation of cattle and to maintain peace and law and order during the festival. DCP Bhaskar personally inspected the security arrangements and monitored vehicle checks being carried out at the spot. He instructed officials and staff to thoroughly inspect every vehicle, verify all relevant documents, and record complete details in the register.

He emphasized the need for strict vigilance to prevent illegal cattle transportation and warned that stringent action would be taken against any violations of norms. The DCP directed the personnel to remain alert at all times, especially during night hours, and to strictly adhere to security protocols while performing their duties.ACP R. Prakash, Lakshittipet CI Ramanamurthy, SI Suresh, Dandepalli SI Taisinooddin and other officers accompanied the DCP during the inspection.
