Managing Director Ashok Reddy, along with Joint Managing Director Mayank Mittal, provided clear directions to officials at the department's headquarters. They stressed the need to fully achieve the targets set by the state government within the 99-day framework

The Telangana government's ambitious 99-day "Praja Palana – Pragati Pranalika" (People's Governance – Progress Plan) initiative, launched on March 6, 2026, under the leadership of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, kicked off with focused implementation across departments. As part of the program's first-day activities, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (Jalamandali) successfully carried out its designated action plan in all offices, emphasizing efficiency, cleanliness, and digital transformation.

Managing Director Ashok Reddy, along with Joint Managing Director Mayank Mittal, provided clear directions to officials at the department's headquarters. They stressed the need to fully achieve the targets set by the state government within the 99-day framework. Officials were urged to work diligently without sparing any effort to ensure the program's success in water resources management and related services. During an inspection at the ground floor of the main office, particularly around the EDP and Public Relations sections, MD Ashok Reddy reviewed file disposal processes.

He instructed staff to remove outdated and pending files to maintain a clean and organized workspace. He instructed that essential documents should be preserved securely, while necessary files are to be scanned and backed up digitally for long-term access. Ashok Reddy further directed that all offices and surrounding premises undergo thorough cleaning drives, including plant maintenance and overall hygiene measures. Special cleanliness programs are to be organized across all Irrigation Department offices, he said.

In line with earlier guidelines, morning inspections are to be conducted daily in every office. Officials should engage directly with the public to understand and address their grievances. Wherever possible, public representatives should be involved in these inspections. Complaints received during these sessions must be given top priority for quick resolution. Approved works are to commence within seven days and be completed within the 99-day period. Outsourcing staff details, including their work locations and responsibilities, are to be verified and compiled.
