Mahbubnagar MLA Yennam Srinivas Reddy has announced significant steps to enhance medical services for the underprivileged at government hospitals. Speaking at a press conference held at his camp office, the MLA revealed that long-standing shortages of MRI and Cath Lab equipment at the Government General Hospital are now being addressed. Following discussions with Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, a budget of Rs 18.76 crore has been approved for their installation.

Reddy noted that after dedicating the past 20 months to improving education, the focus is now shifting to the healthcare sector. ‘We are committed to delivering honest and quality treatment to poor patients,’ he said.

Addressing the town’s infrastructure concerns, Reddy also highlighted the urgent need for railway overbridges in Mahbubnagar. Along with MP DK Aruna, he met Union Minister of State for Railways Somanna in Delhi to push for this demand. The minister assured that flyovers at TD Gutta, Thimmasanpally, and Boyapally Gate would be constructed with full funding from the Centre.
