Ramagundam Police Commissioner stresses on people-friendly policing

Ramagundam Police Commissioner Amber Kishore Jha emphasized the effective use of modern technology in policing and called on officers to instill confidence among citizens visiting police stations by assuring them of timely support and justice. The Commissioner, accompanied by Mancherial Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Eggadi Bhaskar, visited the Madaram Police Station in Mancherial district on Thursday. During the inspection, he reviewed the station premises, vehicles seized in various cases, the sports ground within the compound and the maintenance of police vehicles.

Highlighting the importance of community policing, he instructed the SI and CI to ensure that the Madaram Police Station, which serves rural and tribal areas, delivers more accessible and people-friendly policing.  The Commissioner also called for greater public awareness about online police services, including passport verification, issuance of various certificates, and online complaint registration. Additionally, he directed officials to prepare plans for conducting awareness and training programs for youth on these digital services.
