Andhra Pradesh Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh has said on Sunday that the four districts of Rayalaseema will be developed as tourism hubs in the next five years. Minister Kandula Durgesh was the chief guest and Irrigation Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu was the special guest at the felicitation meeting of the Kapu and Balija legislators  organized at the Meda Kalyanamandapam in Kadapa town on Sunday . Minister Durgesh assured that tourism will be developed in Rayalaseema and employment will be provided to the local unemployed youth.

On this occasion, he mentioned that the old ponds, wells and relics should be carefully preserved. Minister Durgesh said that areas like Gandikota and Siddhavattam will be developed further as tourist centers. He said that Suryalanka will be developed soon. On this occasion, the minister mentioned that funds have been sanctioned for the Akhanda Godavari and Gandikota projects with the support of the central government. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Kandula Durgesh said that he felt fortunate to participate in the intimate meeting of Kapu and Balija representatives. He said that he is committed to providing a suitable place for all, including Dalits, backward classes, Kapus and Balijas, in Rayalaseema.

Minister Durgesh recalled how Pawan Kalyan was a person who knew where to win and where to tone down, and how he stood as the backbone for the coalition government to come to power. He appealed to the Kapu and Balija communities to move forward as a united force and said that everyone will be given due priority in the coming days. Stating that Pawan Kalyan is the reason for him getting the opportunity to be an MLA and Tourism Minister, he said that he feels lucky to be  a minister in the cabinet  of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is known as an efficient Chief Minister in the world. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan will enrich the state.
