Reel stunt rider held near Secretariat

Saifabad Police have arrested a youth for performing dangerous bike stunts on public roads near Lumbini Park and the Telangana State Secretariat, creating panic among commuters and pedestrians.

The accused, Ibrahim Beg (23), a student from Old Malakpet, was allegedly carrying out reckless stunts to film social media reels and gain online popularity. Police said the acts were performed in high-security zones, posing serious risks to public safety.

Based on credible information and sustained surveillance, the police apprehended him and seized the motorcycle used for the stunts along with his mobile phone.

Officials noted that such activities not only violate traffic laws but also endanger lives, especially in sensitive areas like the Secretariat.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Saifabad SHO Erukonda Seetaiah and led by Investigating Officer V. Parameswari along with police staff.

Police have issued a stern warning that strict legal action will be taken against individuals engaging in reckless driving or dangerous stunts on public roads.
