As part of its ongoing Cyber Fraud Awareness initiative across Telangana, State Bank of India (SBI), Hyderabad Circle, organized a Town Hall meeting on August 21 in collaboration with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The event targeted students from various colleges, including Veeranari Chakali Ilamma Women’s University, Sun International College, PDS College of Nursing, and Ghulam Ahmed College of Education, with around 450 students participating.
Key speakers included Ravi Kumar Verma (GM, SBI), Dr. S Subbaiah (CGM, RBI), P Kalyan Chakravarthy (DGM, RBI), and Dr. Loka Pavani (Principal, VCIWU). SBI delivered an informative presentation on different types of cyber frauds, highlighting precautions, do’s and don’ts, and the importance of the 1930 Cyber Crime Helpline and www.cybercrime.gov.in
