Students of Scholars College celebrated Freshers’ Day with enthusiasm at a private function hall in Wanaparthy on Saturday. The directors of Scholars Educational Institutions, Dr P. Jagadeeshwar, Dr G. Varaprasad Rao, Dr B. Nageshwar Reddy and Dr Satyanarayana Reddy, along with principals A. Sridhar, B. Madhusudhan Gupta and Dr Nayakanti Narasimha Sharma, advised students to work hard and strive to achieve higher goals in life.
They also advised students to stay away from bad habits, warning that such habits could adversely affect their future. The management said that Scholars Educational Institutions had been providing quality education to students across the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district for the past 36 years. Cultural programmes presented by the students added colour to the celebrations and attracted the audience.
Students who secured high marks in Intermediate and those who achieved good ranks in NEET, JEE and EAPCET were felicitated with mementos. Gynecologist Dr Subhadra, principal Suprajatha and advocate R. Jyothi, who studied at the college and are now established in their respective professions, were also honoured. Faculty members and non-teaching staff of Scholars College participated in the program.
