In a drive to review infrastructure and operational readiness, South Central Railway General Manager Sandeep Mathur conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Balharshah–Kazipet section in the Secunderabad Division on Monday. Accompanied by Divisional Railway Manager Bhartesh Kumar Jain and other senior officials, the visit spanned multiple key locations and facilities.
The inspection began with a rear window review of track conditions and signalling systems. Mathur visited Sirpur Kaghaznagar to inspect newly laid tracks and evaluated safety protocols at Level Crossing Gate No. 79 E by interacting with field staff. At Bellampalli, he reviewed yard development works and directed officials to expedite progress. He also assessed safety measures at the ROH depot, visited the crew lobby, and checked food quality at the station’s catering stall.
Manchiryal was another focal point, where Mathur examined passenger amenities and redevelopment works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He called for sustained momentum to meet project timelines. At Ramagundam, he inspected equipment at the ROH depot, joined a tree plantation initiative, and evaluated ABSS developments including the ‘One Station One Product’ stall.
The inspection continued at Peddapalli station with a review of amenities, the circulating area, and nearby underpass structures. Mathur praised the pace of redevelopment efforts. At Kazipet, he inspected the foot over bridge, relay room, and crew lobby. He also met public representatives who submitted proposals on regional rail development and later briefed the media on progress across the division.
