Sharif celebrations a symbol of religious harmony- BRS leader

Hyderabad: The Garvi Sharif celebrations were grandly held in Old Bowenpally, Hasmatpet on Sunday under the leadership of BRS leader Altaf Raja. Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, Old Bowenpally Corporator Muddam Narasimha Yadav, TPCC Vice President and Kukatpally Congress Party in-charge Bandi Ramesh, and former board member Pandu Yadav attended the event as chief guests. 

On this occasion, they participated in special prayers after which a rally was organized from Old Bowenpally Sher Gally through Hasmatpet and back to Old Bowenpally. Speaking on the occasion, they wished that all the people live happily and peacefully with the grace of Allah. 

They stated that the Garvi Sharif celebrations stand as a symbol of religious harmony and congratulated Altaf Raja and the leaders for organizing these celebrations. Hundreds of Muslim brothers participated in this rally. The police made extensive security arrangements on this occasion.  Malkajgiri Zone Additional DCP Ram Kumar, ACPs Gopalakrishna Murthy and Subbaiah, Boinpally Inspector Tirupati Raju,m and Alwal Inspector Prashanth, along with the police staff, supervised the event to prevent any untoward incidents.
