Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu handed over an accident insurance cheque of Rs.1.20 crore to the family of a Singareni employee.
As part of the free accident insurance scheme being implemented in Singareni following the directions of the State Government, the Deputy Chief Minister handed over a cheque for Rs.1.20 crore to the family of a worker who recently lost his life in an accident. The event took place on Saturday at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan, where Bhatti Vikramarka presented the cheque to Latha, the wife of the deceased worker Pendri Ranjith Kumar, who worked as a support man in the Ramagundam-1 Area of Singareni.
Pendri Ranjith Kumar had a salary account in the State Bank of India and recently passed away in a road accident. Following the nomination made by the deceased, an insurance amount of Rs.1.20 crore has been paid to his wife, Latha, under the accident insurance scheme. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that the Rs.1.20 crore accident insurance scheme being implemented in Singareni should serve as a model not only for public sector undertakings, but also for all states across the country.

Subhani and other officials participated in the programme.
