‘Special educators crucial in integrating students with disabilities’

Chairman of the Helen Keller Educational Institution Pattan Umar Khan emphasized on Monday that special educators play a crucial role in identifying the abilities of children with disabilities and helping integrate them into mainstream education through inclusive teaching practices. He was the Chief Guest for the farewell program organized for the outgoing 2024 batch of the B.Ed Special Education (Hearing Impairment) regular course by the 2025 batch students. 

Dr. Armugam, Principal-cum-Director of the Audiology and Speech Department spoke about the importance of professional training in special education and rehabilitation. College Principal Dr. Shashidhar Reddy and other faculty members were present.
